FocusApplet.java - Move your mouse around within the "Active Region" to generate events. You will see descriptions of the events inside the status bar of the applet.

Note that even though the "Active Region" has registered interest in all AWT events, not all events apply to the JPanel class and many events cannot be generated by a user within an applet, so you will primarily see mouse- and resize-related events.
