I had a chance to travel to Venezuela and Panama for work, and I jumped on it. I have always wanted to see Angel Falls, so I booked a short trip for the weekend in between. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to take the boat trip and hike to the base of Angel Falls - instead I could only take tours of the lagoon area in Canaima and take a scenic plane ride.
It was windy the morning of the scenic flight, and I had to fight some major vertigo as I jumped from side to side in the plane trying to capture the Falls on film. Someday I'd like to return and take the boat ride and hike I missed!
