A is For ADMISSION: (Romans 3:23, 1John:8-10, Titus 3:5) For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God Acknowledge that you are a sinner. But it's not enough to acknowledge your sin;
you have to admit it. Sometimes, it's very difficult to admit that we are wrong, We
can see in Rom. 3:23 that we fall short of the glory of God . If you say that you are
not doing anything wrong, you must be kidding. And you make Him a liar. In
1 John 1:8,10 made it very clear about that. So the bottom line is, "admit it". As I
was saying that, sometimes, it is very hard for us to admit and that's because of
the pride that is within us. No matter how good you think you are may think
that you are obeying all the God's Commandments, but that's not good enough.
In Titus 3:5 it says, not by works of righteousness, which we have done, but
according to His mercy He saved us. It doesn't matter how sinful you are. All you
have to do is to admit that you are a sinner and ask for forgiveness from God. In
1 John 1:9 it says that if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us
our sins and purify js from all unrighteousness. B is for BELIEVE: (John 3:16, 1 Peter 3:18, 1 John 5:1-5, Romans 10:9, John 1:12) Once you admit yours sins and confesses them, you must believe with all your hearts that He forgives you, that God loves you and that Christ died for you and me. John 3:16, and in 1 Peter 3:18 says that Christ also suffered once for sins the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. In 1 John 5:1-5 everyone who believes..don't even doubt in your heart that He can't forgive you, because no matter how grievous is your sins He is ready to forgive. Just believe it in your heart and trust the Lord. In Romans 10:9 and in John 1:12. C is for CALL: (Romans 10:13, John 1:12) Call on the Lord Jesus to save you, to forgive you, and receive Him as your personal Savior. In Romans 10:13 "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." As many as received Him to them He gave the right to become the children of God, even those who believe in His name, John 1:12 If you are reading this message right now, I'm challenging you to evaluate yourself before the Lord. Take a moment and examine yourself. If you happen to have not yet received the Lord Jesus Christ as your persosnal Savior and Lord, it's about time you take this "ABC" of Salvation. You may say, later or next time, but I'm telling you. later or next time might be too late. Because today is the day of Salvation. I want to echo what the apostle Paul was telling the Corithians that the time of God's favor is NOW. I want to challenge you to take this right wherever you are at this very moment. Take it now, and you won't regret.
