My personal beliefs about the teaching and learning of students:

* The teaching profession is one that involves continual learning
* When planning lessons, flexibility and time management are key
* A classroom will always have diverse learners who require diverse activities
* Professional collaboration is vital to the success of educators
* Integrated units allow the students to connect material to real world situations
* Student learning takes place when previous knowledge is related to new knowledge
* Students learn best when the material interests them or is related to something that interests them
* Students become motivated when they have experienced the satisfaction of success.
* Content must be challenging yet atainable
