My time with Mrs. Doss's 8th grade Pre-Algebra classes has officially ended, and I learned very much from the experience! For a look at the unit we completed, please browse through the online unit plan:

The unit ended with an exciting graphing project where the students were able to work in groups and collaborate about their data and results. The students presented the final information in the form of a colorful poster and shared thier findings with the class. Action Acroplis!

This integrated unit was planned with fellow teacher candidates and includes lessons in mathematics, social studies, and language arts.

Customary Measurement

This unit was planned and implemented in a 6th grade math class at Woodlawn Middle School in Mebane, NC in the Fall of 2004.
