Animating a 2 Cylinder Motor


  1. FINITE ADJUSTMENTS OF PIN & SHAFT (cont'd)
    1. front4-28In the 'Perspective View' carefully place your cursor on each of the CamPoints (in turn) and nudge it gently up or down to make the 1st set of objects rotate and align the Shaft with the Pin, while observing the movements in the Front View Port, at right.
    2. Also in the 'Perspective View' carefully place your cursor on the Gear and nudge it gently up and down to make the 2nd set of objects rotate and align the Pin with both Shafts, while observing the movements in the Front View Port to make the necessary changes.
      NOTE:
      You will probably need to do the previous instruction several times to fine tune your engine. Use Undo or reopen file to correct errors in object alignment - save often.
    3. Repeat the above steps for each incremented time slider location 0/100 - 100/100.
    4. timeslider Turn off the Animation button and run the animation run to see if it requires more adjustment.
    5. Unless you need to make further minor 3D adjustments the motor is done.
