Birthdate derived from census. Description: age 52. Svein notes her name as Karen Olsdatter Magistad.
A death record in Slidre in 1811 suggests that he may have had a daughter, Kari, that died that year and he may have been married to Anne Tollev Præstrud. Ditto for a son named Ola that died in 1810.
1785 was deduced from the census, but clearly this is in error since the christening was in 1794.
I deduce that Gulbrand may have been a twin of the younger Ola since they were baptized on the same day. SInce he is not listed in the 1801 census, it is conceivable that he died before that time.
