Kjetil Knutson and brother Sigbjørn divided the farm in 1845 so Kjetilgot 5-2/3 and Sigbjørn got 5 eng. In 1865 Kjetil was 41 and his wife37. Their children:Kristen 13; Gabriel 7, Karen Malene 16; Gurine 10;Lisabet 4 and Jørgine 2. In the spring of 1867 h emove the wholehousehold to Lista. He sold his farm to Kristian Karlson.
Kjetil Knutson was a good musician both on voilin and clarinet. It istold that when he sat on the mountain overlooking Knogevoll and playedon the clarinet on Sundays, the sound carried over the whole valley.
Andreas married Ann Sofie in 1859 and they took over the largest partof the farm on Kongevoll.

SEZ lists ingeborg as the wife on 1789. The KL/ON notes list Gjoa Ommundsdatter Mydland as the wife, however, it is apparent that she was a 36 yr. old tenent at the time of the 1801 census. Thus, she was also noted in the Bydgebok for Gyland.

Ola and Berte lived for some years in Tesak. Later they took over his father's farm in Kleiva. The Bygdbok fra Gyland says that "Der ervelstand" (they are prosperous).
