| Iver was born in Akero, Norway 4-8-1888. Dec.1900 Norway Census of More og Romsdal Sandoy/Ona...Iver 22 was living with his fisherman father 58 Knute Elias Knutson and 48 stepmother Beret Marie Olsdatter and their 5 year old F. Konrad Knutson Jul.15, 1911 Iver 23, came to America on the S.S. LAURENTIC via the Port of Montreal, Canadian Boarder.. Passage paid $26 by his brother. Laruitz Ona Akero. Iver's destination was Ross ND to his other brother Rasmus K. Ona's place. Iver was 5'7" dark hair & complexion, with brown eyes. (M1461 sndx St Alban-Vermont 1895-1924 roll 294). |
