| Download the Rockstar Catalog Rockstar's entire catalog of PC titles, from the Grand Theft Auto series to Max Payne, is now available for download from IGN's Direct2Drive service. This is the first time any publisher's games have been made in digital form. Ralph Baer Receiving GDC Pioneer Award Today the 2008 Developers Choice Awards has named its "Pioneer" recipient: Ralph Baer, creator of the Magnavox Odyssey and the "father of video games." The Odyssey was the first home console, released commercially in 1972. The Developers Choice Awards are held during the Game Developers Conference each year. The award show will be held on February 20 in San Francisco.
