The Village Staircase
On Jungle Island
Originally, there was a staircase leading from the wooden walkway
up to the prison above the Wahrk Gallows. This kind of defeated the purpose of the
Gallows, so they scrapped the staircase, and put in a catwalk and a
drop-down ladder, which is what we find in the game. They must have scrapped it late
in production, because the staircase pictures are still on RIVEN Disc 3.
