The Book Press
On Crater Island
Cyan had designed a book press, and put it between the boiler
and the ladder going up the crater wall. A book press was a good idea, because
the logs are shipped from Jungle Island to Crater Island, shredded,
boiled into pulp, and then pressed into paper. But beta-testers couldn't figure
out what it was for. They kept thinking it was to unlock "that dang
manhole" at the top of the ladder, or that it was some other major puzzle.
So Cyan took it out, but they left the images on RIVEN Disc 1.

Ooooh...big difference :) Oh well, it's cool, 'cause it's not in the game.
There was probably a little animation to bring you from "Up" to "Down", but
I don't know how to search the Discs for those kind of files.
