ok... now it has been 13 months since i converted my car and thank goodness that everything seems to be working fine until today. Up to this moment, i have spent abotu 28000 in total on my car. And to me, i think evrysingle cents that i spent on the car is worth it, especially when take my car to the highway . The power produced by the 2 litre engine is enough to satisfy my hunger and need for speed. I sent the car for dyno test sometime in April 2001 in Speedworks, and thanks to Kenny and Terence and also Gary, who put all their effort and expertise in tuning, and dynoing my car. The result came out with figures that makes me smile until i felt as though i dont have enough face to smile. Just to share with you all, that the car produces 260 hp at 6000 somthing RPM and 383 Nm of torque at 3000 sumthing. Enough rite?
wel..at least it is enoigh for me. I think the car is at it's peak and that's like the maximum power that the chasis and the car can handle. In terms of looks and accessories, the car has been fitted with:

As of the engine, nothing has been done to it, except cleaning it, no steel intercooler pipes. I like this this way since I know that VR4 is quite an old engine, and i dont really want to mod it that much. Maintain! that's the word...


Problems
I would be the biggest liar on planet earth If i said that my car didnt give me any problem.
well the most obvious problem is FUEL. It starts to eat up fuel like hell after i tuned in speedworks. ABout 70km for rm10 only. Apart from it, my mounting fucked up many many times...so i had to take out the engine and readjust all the mounting points. Drive shaft is another bitch, i replaced it about 5 times already. Gearbox... i was running on 1.3 gearbox until i blew it up in BTSC on one damn saturday nite. Now the car is running on custom made ( rojak ratios) gearbox. Air cond... i had to replace whole air cond piping since the old one is screwed.

as for the costs, I hate it when i start to calculate, so lemme just give you all rough figures..... about 28000 in total. Insane!!!!

anyway... enough lah with this car. what i have now, i want to maintain. I am getting married to my lovely Hazlin in December. This baby Satria GT-Apex'i of mine will be kept and maintain forever, I love this car very very much. He's always with me in ups and downs and has been helping me a lot. I wonder if the car can talk, he would have cursed me for all teh abusings that i did to him. Pity Him! as of now, I am trying ( real hard ) not to abuse him anymore,...i love him... as much as i love myself, however still, not as much as I love my dearest babygirl Hazlin!!!!
