Turbo Parts

All turbo engines need to be run at idle for a time after driving under boost. This is because the turbo runs at around 900�C, and when the engine is switched off, it's oil supply is also stopped, meaning the bearings are not cooled, and can quickly overheat. Thus the engine needs to left at idle until the turbo has cooled down sufficiently for the bearings to survive.
