the material (polyethylene)  used that conducts essentially no heat. Air velocity and 
volume are increased because of its

is designed to function as a velocity
stack from the point  of air intake all the way to the throttle body.

Immediate effect after changing air filter
1) engine sounds better, actually bunyi lagi  garang
2) better throttle response
3) fuel consumption increases

Ok...HKS power flow....nih memang bagus..nak tau apsal? first of all..compound filter tuh sendiri mmg bagus....even dia nampak macam sponge, but speed and volume of air coming air still maintain banyak gile!! HArga kat malaysia adalaaa dalam 3++ to 4++ tengok kat mana kau beli!

okay...we have seen dome type, mushroom type air filter, but all in all, it comes back to drawing cold air. Thus, FAHMi my friend actually suggested that why not, if we use the same standard air filter box, but change the filter element to the one that has lesser restriction to air. Well, we did investigate into this matter and found a suitable after market replacement for air filter element. It costs rm80 from AUTOBAGS,Kelana JAya. It is still square shape, but it looks sort of like sponge.
