Interns' Presentations

Objectives:

Þ   Introducing the concept of preparing & presenting medical material to other colleagues

Þ   Presenting up-to-date, evidence-based medicine

Þ   Sharing the discussions with other medical staff

Topics:

A list of "suggested" topics is available with the Chief Intern, but any topic that is interesting to you may be added. The Chief Intern is responsible for assigning the topics with his colleagues at the beginning of their Pediatric rotation.

The Chief Intern or his assistant will invite consultants and fellows from the same subspecialty topics being presented. The presence of these experts with the junior staff will make the discussions more fruitful.

Timing and Place:

Topics will be presented every Saturday & Tuesday, between 12:30-1:30 pm, in the Pediatric Seminar Room. Attendance of residents & interns will be monitored.
