| Professor Jack R. Schmidt |
| Mr. Schmidt is originally from Pittsburgh. He became a brother of Kappa Kappa Psi over 30 years ago at Clarion University, where he met his wife Beverly and got his bachelor's degree. He furthered his education with a master's from Virginia Tech and a doctorate from Penn State University. Mr. Schmidt taught in the public school system before teaching at a university. He has toured with bands in Europe and was an adjudicator for national bands. He has been the principal percussionist with the Nittany Valley Symphony, Williamsport Symphony, and State College Municipal Band. He also teaches private lessons. Mr. Schmidt is a member of the Rotary International and is a 32 Degree Mason. He is a past president of the Lion's Club, a past president of Phi Beta Mu (Pennsylvania Band Master's Association), and is the secretary/treasurer of the CBDNA. Mr. Schmidt is currently the director of bands at Lock Haven University and the Eta Alpha chapter sponsor. His wife Beverly also teaches at the university and is the sponsor of Tau Beta Sigma's Epsilon Upsilon chapter. Eta Alpha homepage Chapter Members |
