Vampiric Sences
Senses, My senses?:

Vampires also have keener senses than human beings, for the
most part. Many myths probably stemmed from this fact forexample,
a vampire's heightened sense of smell can make pungent or strong
odors offensive this is probably where the whole "fear of garlic"
thing came from. Vampires also have more sensitive vision; they can
usually see better in the dark than normal humans; they are more
sensitive to detail and color variations - some can even see further
into the infra-red and ultra-violet spectrum. A vampire's increased
sense of vision also means that sunlight and other bright lights are
irritating to his eyes; this is part of the reason that a lot of
vampires get migraine headaches. The vampire's increased tactile
sense is also the reason why he is sun-sensitive; he sunburns easier
than most and sunblock doesn't do very well to prevent that problem.
Vampires also usually do not like tactile extremes either they are
more sensitive to pain and to temperature extremes. Vampires also have
keen senses of hearing and taste; most vampires have a great
appreciation for good food and music.  Many vampires, in addition
to the five senses, have a sixth sense of some kind; the degree of
which varies from individual to individual.

Vampires, in addition to the above traits, are usually
extremely more emotional than other humans, much to the dismay
of the vampire's loved ones. Their emotions are usually overwhelming,
causing them to act in ways that alienate friends and family. For
this reason, a vampire may have trouble keeping friends. A vampire
can learn to control what he is, but it usually takes a great deal of
introspection and soul-searching before he is ready to accept himself
and his nature.
