Act 13 : Shiawase no Shukan : The Subject of Happiness
Tsubasa returns home. She has realized that she must learn to live with the fact that her father may remarry, and she agrees to meet and have dinner with the woman and her son, Kazuma. However, the dinner does not go well when Kazuma assumes that Tsubasa is still in grade school and Tsubasa reacts violently. Shibahime-san begins to rethink his decision to get married again... However, not too long afterwards, Tsubasa is out walking and begins to be harrassed by an older man. Kazuma happens to be walking by, and helps her out. They get a chance to sit down and talk, and Kazuma apologizes for his assumption and tells her he was glad he got to see her again. As he gets up to leave, Tsubasa stops him, and tells him she wants to talk some more. They go to his house, and when his mother comes home, Tsubasa discovers that she is not quite the person she thought she was. Reminded of Miyazawa and her obsession to impress, Tsubasa smiles at this and accepts the woman and her son as part of her new family.

Act 14 : Kore Made no O-hanashi : The Story So Far
The title speaks for itself. This collection of partial-acts is just a recap of the incidents that have occurred thus far in KareKano.

Act 15 : Koe no Mukou ni Mieru Mono : That Which Is Seen Beyond the Voice
Asaba Hideaki comes to the Miyazawa household. Upon seeing Miyazawa Hiroyuki, he asks who he is (mistake), not realizing that it was Yukino's father. As Asaba plays with Tsukino and Kano, Yukino's sisters, Hiroyuki tells Yukino that he is upset by the presence of lady-killer Asaba. (The original plan was that Asaba would escort the Miyazawa daughters to the pool, but of course, their father would have none of that, and Arima had hit Asaba in the face with his bag when the latter suggested such a thing.) Miyazawa asks her sisters if they like Asaba more than Arima, and they reply that Arima is like an older brother, whereas Asaba is more like a pet. ^_^; Miyazawa and Asaba talk for a while, and she discovers that he lives by himself and rejected his parents. Asaba and his father never got along, and Asaba considered his father too serious. However, when he met Arima, he was attracted to his seriousness, perhaps to make up for the father-figure he now lacked. Miyazawa ponders this friendship of the boy who was rejected BY his family and the boy who rejected his family.

Act 16 : Eien no Tentei : Bounds of Eternity
The Miyazawa family takes a trip to see their grandfather, Yukino's mother's father. Because Miyazawa Hiroyuki and his wife Miyako married at a young age, Miyako's father was never fond of his son-in-law. As Hiroyuki and Miyako are out walking, they pass a playground at which they spent a lot of time as children, and they begin to reminisce. Hiroyuki was raised by his grandfather alone, and was a rowdy child all through his youth. As he grew older, he wanted to make his grandfather comfortable, and couldn't escape the fact that he would die someday. Hiroyuki and Miyako met as toddlers, and saw eachother periodically during school. Hiroyuki always had a hard life, although he was loved dearly by his grandfather, and he loved him back. When his grandfather passed away, he and Miyako decided to get married immediately after she finished school (thus prompting her father to beat Hiroyuki senseless).
