title, in Columbia township.  They began improvements and built a log cabin

Notes: Samuel Rockwell came from Vermont, near Lake Champlain, [to Bradford
County, PA] so near that the daughter, Hannah, who married afterwards Eli 
Parsons, became a good swimmer, and was the means of saving the lives of some 
who were upset from a boat on the lake.
