It's not much, but it's home.
Woo~ Our biennial fair, the Kabihasnan, was held on Friday and Saturday. Our batch is lucky to have had it in our graduating year. Day 1 was pretty boring. We just stayed at school until 2pm doing basicaly nothing but sitting down. Of course, there were those that felt like catching people. My section's booth was the Bear House. Nice name for a booth. We sold bear plushies. Anyway, when 2 was nearing, Lu and I started looking for Sayo and the others. We were going to galle. We all met at the gym, waited while watching, then left for galle. We arrived at galle by 4pm. I asked people to choose between yes and no. Majority said no so I decided not to do something. Our group split up first. My group went up to skybowl doing weird stuff on the escalators. As we passed Greenwich, there was this group of females sitting there. One of them laughed. Suddenly, I copied her laugh. Then I became conscious of what I did so I hid my face between Sayo and Howie while laughing so that the group of females and the povedans there wouldn't see me. lol. They dropped off their bags at skybowl. Then we stopped in front of the air-con at Magoo's staring at it. Wala lang. That's how we are. We skipped past the pet shop then noticed Howie wasn't with us. I hate doing that. You do something weird and then you stop so that people can stare at you and get a good look at you. We continued on to the House of King Burger. Once I set my tray down on the table, they instantly grabbed some of my fries. Beh. We had another BK Art Attack. We entitled it "War Against Violence". Don't ask me why. After eating, we watched Hero. Hero is one weird movie. Watch and see for yourself how weird it can get. I don't want to spoil it :D.
Day 2 was really fun. At first, there was nothing to do. It was also really hot XP. I just walked around advertising some products. After a few hours of doing nothing productive, I joined Howie's group behind the stage under the tree. He was in his Death/Kamatayan outfit. Sayo came soon enough with a box of non-permanent tattoos and a wet sponge. I was in a mindless mood at the time so I sang along to the songs being played. After a while, Howie, Sayo, Lue and I went around the track trying to sell tattoos. Sometimes, we would skip around. Usually, we'd each say a syllable: Ta - Too -- Twen - Ty. A tattoo cost 20 pesos. I remember saying to 2 girls "I'll buy you one". LOL. Another time, I was singing along to I'll Be while trying to sell some tattoos. I think I was able to charm a girl >_>. Ahahahaha. I become sort of an extrovert with my friends. I took a video of Howie's little sister. She combed her hair to look like sadako. Fun. We moved to the Mahiwagang Bilog. We stayed there doing mindless things as usual. After half an hour or so, I proposed that we move to the quadrangle to get a drink. We sat down st the stairway. Lu kept sliding down the stairs -_-. We moved to the gazeebo and stayed there up to 7. Howie had left to retrieve the nyctophonic tickets he left at home. Lu brought Howie's little sister to the parking area to see how wonderful it looked during sunset and night time. We took a picture of the gym. Wonderful.
We watched Nyctophonic, a concert featuring Rivermaya. Who cares about Silk. They took up so much time. We didn't come to see them! >_> I pity that one girl band's violinist. The bridge of her violin came off. She didn't get to play anymore. Janelle(?) So was a horrible host. Everything she said was obviously scripted. I enjoyed the concert anyway :D. Only thing was my feet were already tired from the fair. And I was sleepy by the time they were on. It finished at around 12:30am. Person was there pero ayaw magpakita. My phone ran out of energy during the concert. I realize now that the screensaver application I downloaded uses up a lot of energy.
Belated Happy Valentine's Day.
W007. Yesterday was day 2 of achievment tests. It was just physics and economics. We still had classes though. Only a handful or so students had a talumpati to submit during Filipino class. After dismissal, I proceeded to the 4th year computer lab to join the website making competition. It was lame. Out of 10 pairs (1 pair from each section), only 3 came; which means we all win a place. I didn't like the theme. The theme was "The Filipino Family". We were to tell of how it was then, now and tomorrow. Good thing I had Taylor with me. Bwahahahahahahaha. The time wasn't enough. One hour was just enough to get a basic layout. I inserted an image just before I left >_>. I only used 1 image! My friend Jean Louis (Frenchy style) said he didn't even use any. The other guy used 4 (IMHO, I found his page too simple). Louis used 2 javascripts though: an alert and some navigation script which I didn't quite understand from his explanation. I was asking for my computer teacher's opinion on whose layout he found to be the best looking. He said he wasn't a judge so he didn't have the right to say anything. Riiight. We didn't have any decent paint programs, btw. I didn't have time to edit my CSS~ aaa~ I used this layout's stylesheet >_>. I just made the background of the iframe pages #DDDDDD. We all agreed there wasn't enough time. Ah well. We "finished" anyway. We'll find out next week who won.
Paul (a.k.a. Sayo), Howie, Aaron (a.k.a. Lu), Soler (I forgot his first name) and I went to galle though we didn't go all together. Lu walked home first to his house near Xavier then walked to galle. Who cares about whatever Soler did. The usual three of us encountered Mr. Cortez and Mr. Abba along the way to galle. We encountered Louis and Sy there. Immediately, Sy asked me for the "VCD". Others, as any LSGH guy would react, said "X. X." No, it was "Ring" Sy wanted. Anyway, we went to the top floor. Howie kept staying ahead of us. Sayo and I secretly let Howie walk on to skybowl while we checked out the movies. Hero would have been good but I didn't to watch at such a time. Bwa. Howie wondered where we went. Lucky for him, there were some Lasallians at Popeye so he could tambay there while wondering where we went. Still, he lead the way to skybowl. We sat down in the bowling area. We contacted Soler and Lu. While waiting, I made my phone dance again (lol). I set it to the Nokia Tune. Soler arrived. He looked under the table and found a cellphone sticker thingy; the one you stick on the back of your phone that lights up whenever it's receiving a message or a call.
We left skybowl to go to burger king. Soler encountered 2 of his friends by the pet shop. The 3 of us stopped at the intersection and I proposed that we pose there. Fun. Then we posed while looking at Dreamscape. LOL. People would look at us then look at dreamscape. Well, Soler went off with his friends first so we went to bk. I checked my phone and read Lu's message. It was something like "CHYNES DUDE: I am waiting for an oracle but blah blah blah. I propose we eat at the house of King Burger." lol. The message me and Sayo sent had old style English and the word "Phokis". We used allusion :D. Phokis is an intersection in the Greek tragedy "Oedipus". The message we sent to Lu was "Where shall be our intersection, our Phokis?" LOL. Well, Soler arrived at BK then Lu arrived. As usual, we had a BK Art Attack. I entitled our artwork "The Launch: Columbia + Space Station". [DJ Jean - The Launch] was playing kasi. After BK, we walked around galle looking for a jacket I could buy. I have been endlessly searching for "the perfect jacket". Bleah. No luck. We made tambay at Havoc. Okay, they looked around, I stood next to the mannequins. lol. People would pass by and look at me. The mannequin was taller than me. I had an arm on it while I was standing in a sort of stylish way. It was really fun. I was just making papansin >_>. Ahahahahaha. I kept on saying that we should come back when I get a 7650. I'll have my picture taken doing the same thing <_<. We went to Odyssey. I bought earphones. We went to skybowl and found JR and others playing bowling. Sayo and Louis started gripping. Weird. Then me and Louis discussed the competition earlier. After a while, I left. It was alredy around 7pm.
I passed the USTET. Yeeeesss~~ Proof? Go to this page and look for "kempis". I'm the only Kempis there.
We don't have computer classes in the second semester. My computer teacher said that I was the one who would compete for my section in the website making competition. Aa~ We need to use JavaScript~ Well, I'm not going to be alone anyway. I'm going to drag along Taylor. Ahahahaha. I have a feeling it's going to be on a Wednesday. It's possible that it'll be this Wednesday. Eesh. I hate JavaScript. I think the time limit will be around 80 minutes (1 whole period). Tools and materials: Notepad/WordPad and rip-off pictures. I have no problem with that. My problem would be the theme. I'll have Taylor to help me design the layout. He's a flash dude. *This part deleted*
Whee. I bought a domain name. L-OLnet. I don't have a host yet though >_>. I had problems with signing up yesterday. I made a typographical error so I clicked on Back on IE then everything went wrong. Ah well. I'll just ask dad to get me an e-mail address from PLDT myDSL. Hopefully, I'll have already signed up by the end of the week.
The net was attacked yesterday. That's the reason why a bunch of websites are down. That includes my comments system >_>. The net was attacked right after I messed up in signing up -_-. I thought I'd messed up their site with what I did <_<.
Whee. Another week finished. I actually did homework! My english teacher got me so annoyed the other day so I felt like doing my homework. W007. I even had homework for Filipino! Amazing. I hardly do homework and almost never do projects and yet I still pass. It's been like that for years. I haven't seen The Ring yet. I might watch it on Sunday. I'll try to watch Ring 0 and 2 tomorrow~ Sada-chan~
Exams. I passed science, socsci, cl and automotive. I failed math (and possibly Filipino). I know I'll pass english. I got the 3rd highest score in science. I'm one of the 12 people who passed the exam :P. 11 Passed the socsci exam (including me). Majority failed math of course.
Lol. I was singing earlier in the schoolbus. One song caught the attention of the driver >_>. I was listening to my MD while singing anyway. Who cares if most of the people were looking at me na <_<. I was tired. I also like to sing. Speaking of songs, we have a project in science that requires us to sing. Our teacher calls it "Soiled Songs". We can modify the lyrics or use the original. The point is to teach something from physics or something about the environment. The first thing that came to my mind was "try to sing: six point sixtyseven times ten to the negative eleventh power newton meters squared over kilograms squared". Isn't that bizarre?
I HATE commuting. You have no privacy. The student council this year is pathetic. We had classes! Traffic was horrible. Paul, Howie and I just went off to galle then walked around. We couldn't wait for the school bus and we had a feeling it would be traffic. When we arrived at galle, we encountered Lu and Archi. They went their own ways and we proceeded to the top floor. It didn't feel like galle. We looked down from the top floor in front of popeye and saw Diswe. He left his friends and came all the up to us >_>. He joined our group. Aww. When former busmites reunite. Anyway, it was a bit empty and a little dark. And there were ... erm... simple folk walking around as if they were lost. It just felt really weird. Then we played half-life at compass. I'm already sick of that game.
While going to galle, we kept on saying how the traffic along ortigas was caused by the SACB's (student affairs council bleah) irresponsibility. Lol. I even said it louder when we passed by some icans eating at Greenwich. Heh. And while walking to galle, there were these 2 dudes on a motorcycle. "Bakit ganito?" "Labasan na kasi nila." Then we said "SACB kasi!" La lang. SACB nga naman. If they had only requested for a day off, we wouldn't have had to go to school. Since we went to school, people couldn't get to school to pick up their kids because of the traffic. Those just passing by the campus were impeded by those trying to pick up their children. They also caused traffic along Ortigas. We also said that our being at galle was the working of the SACB and that we wouldn't have done all of those things at galle if it wasn't for them and ... you get the point. SACB sucks.
I recall this morning: parents kept passing by our tambayan. When a mother was passing by, my schoolmate said out of nowhere "He was like s* (< with emphasis) his c*!" He really waited for the mother to be right behind him -_-. He was around 2 meters away. And he's from the pep squad. Everybody was going like "huh?" when he said that. It was far away from the topic >_>.
I feel so tired. I don't know why. I can't think well either.
I just realized I'm going to be another year older in around 5 months. Blah. Feb's coming up. Grad ball's on March 8. ... Enough said about that. EDSA 2 anniversary tomorrow. We have classes~ aa~ They're gonna take a pic of our batch tomorrow for the yearbook. I want a batch ring na. I wonder when they'll start selling. Speaking of rings, someone keeps on taking my mood ring. I'll have to get my 3rd one. Ah well. I'm playing Kingdom Hearts again. I'm gonna get my copies of Ring 0-2 tomorrow~ Whee~ You better watch it.
Whee. Another layout. Sada-chan *_* Exams are over~ yes~ But that means the start of another quarter - The last one at that. It'll have the Kabihasnan (HS fair), the Grad Ball (eww) and of course, graduation. Not to mention all of the college entrance test results. Here's a weird class site from my batch. It has some lemon too (evil). Spread it.
I love Sadako. Sadako. Sadako! Bwa. Anyway, my friends and I ate at Mario's whatever at Galle. I paid for everybody. It was around 1.4k PhP. Hmm. *cough* I used my credit card. Woo. I still have 2 days of examinations to go. Wish me luck!
Ring is a hit in my class. The Ring sucks! Lots of us are having copies of Ring 0 and 2 made. Anybody have an operator logo or a picture message of Ring? Contact me~ Ateneo results are out. I don't know if I passed yet or not~ Maybe I'll be placed on the waiting-list since BS Bio is a quota course and I'm from La Salle. Eevil school rivalry. I'm going to hold back buying a 7650. I'll just wait for the 3650 to come out. It's much more aliw~ Other people want to buy phones with a camera too. I'll watch The Ring tomorrow. Bwa...ha...ha... I wonder if Ring will come out in DVDs. I wanna buy a set if ever one came out >_>. Then I can record the well scene on a VHS tape and give it to someone. Fun. Aaa~ College is near -_-.
Whee. I'm finally using my Mini Disc. I had to download a program that uninstalls OpenMG (OMG). Well, I still couldn't utilize OMG. I'm stuck with RealOne -_-;. Back to school today. Pretty boring. Lots of students didn't pass the DLSU College Entrance Test. I didn't take it anyway. I applied at UP (eww), Ateneo (yay) and UST (yay). Hmm. Oyasumi~
I deleted most of the last paragraph of the previous log. Dad suggested it as a certain group won't likw what I said. Bad for me. Really. I asked my mom if I could use some of my money to buy a 7650. She said we'll talk about it over the weekend. Dad said if she won't allow me to spend my money, he'll buy me one IF I make him a website. That's haaaard~ I don't know what he wants in it~ I'm going to continue working on my SocSci[Eco] project (the paper bill design). That was a big hit on the day I showed a sample around at school. Even the teachers enjoyed it. LOL. Even my own economics teacher! :D Except of course, he didn't want his face on it. Heh. A memorable experience. I'm trying to clear up some disk space as well. I'll delete half-life... Ahh... What a wonderful game. Dad finally uninstalled that cursed NetMD. It didn't want to be uninstalled. I haven't been able to use my MD in 6 months (only got to use it for... oh, a week or so?)! Let's see if I can install that. Quarterly exams 2 Tuesdays from now. Bummer.
Obviously, I modified the way some things look. Goqy.
I love apple cider. Back to school in 4 days~ No~ I became 500 dollars richer last night. Bwa. Now I have $3400. Hmm. Aaaa~ This juice sux0rz~ The seeds are so bitter XP The color of the seeds? Green. *shiver* Utada Hikaru - Hikari is really nice. The English version (Simple and Clean) is lame compared to it. But still, both songs are good.
Why can't this country make any good things? -_- I always say it's the people. They always want to be 'happy', thus making them spend all their money on drinking and gambling. Of course, it's not like that for all people. Filipinos really need to be disciplined. So far, I find the Philippines to be the scariest country to drive in. Bring any foreigner to the Philippines and have him drive; for sure, he'll be terrorized by all the street habits of Filipinos. People come out of nowhere and cross the road. I don't mean at the intersection or at a crossing path. I mean where the islands are. Lots of drivers also come from the farthest lane when turning. And of course, "yellow = 'you can beat the red light- hurry up'" idea. Everything in this country needs development. It used to be a good country. But now, Korea and even Malaysia are better.
I say that the people in the lower levels of society are always spoiled with pure cheapness by the government, bad presidents and the entertainment industry. The entertainment industry keeps making pathetic movies such as Lastikman and Alamat ng Lawin. They want to make money from the poor instead of make quality movies that will show the talents that the Filipinos have. As for the government and bad presidents, they've made a lot of horrible programs making the poor dependent on them. I can't say much about those two though. I'm not into politics. XP
Anyway, lots of people are corrupt. *This part deleted*
Happy New Year! I just played Kingdom Hearts to stay awake. I beat Sephiroth~ Level 75. Anyway, I still can't login to tag-board. I can't edit the tag-board's colors. -_- Ah well. The fireworks presentations done this night were lame. Even the one at the Fort. Good thing I didn't go. I remember the Millennial celebration. It was also lame~ The atmosphere at the place I went to then was nice though. lol. Mike Enriquez hosted the countdown to 2000. He kept saying that "We" would be seen all over the world on television. Yeah right. This country really needs improvement.
Okay. Another layout. It features Riku of Kingdom Hearts. Hmm. Well hey, it's the last day of 2002! I'm tired of using pitas. *loves notepad* I use dreamweaver to make the tables but for almost everything else, I edit with notepad (or the source view in DW). About pitas, It's a hassle for me whenever I want to edit things, especially if I'm going to use a new image. I have to go to different webpages just to get it up. Pitas isn't bad. It's wonderful, actually. But I'm better off with geocities.
