Explanations of  the "Prayer for Rebirth in pure land

 Participation of the Pujas and all Dharma activities would generate the Merits. This Merits must dedicate to all the sentient beings. Since most of the sentient beings is suffering, through this dedications, all beings would gain the blessing from Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. So that their suffering and disaster will be reduced. Besides, increase the wealth of sentient beings. Through the dedication we should also develop the compassion.

 Without dedication, the Merits would be burnt off by the angry fire when one is in anger. After dedication, the Merits to all sentient beings, will be as firm as the Vajra and will not be ruined. However, through the dedication, not only benefit to all beings but also benefit our self.

 While reciting the "Prayer for Rebirth in pure land" we should visualized Amitabha pureland, Buddha Amitabha surrounded by all Bodhisattvas. We wish that all the sentient beings would be able rebirth in the pure land.
