Every year I go to the Annual Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet Open House. The first year, 1997, I met Jr for the 1st time. He was soooooo nice. I wished him luck in the Bush Series and he graceiously thanked me with a great smile. The next year we went back and I said to him "Gee, I knew you were going to be good, but I had no idea you were going to be this good!" His face turned 5 different shades of red and then mine did as well. I didn't realize how it sounded until I said it. I think he knew what I meant. Thanks Godd he didn't remember me in 1999! LOL!
