Earth Day
Students from Benzie Central High School's Environmental and Earth Science
classes have volunteered every year since 1998 at the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore
on Earth Day. Beach clean-up, old fence removal, boardwalk repair, cleaning old dump sites, tree
planting and many other projects have been completed over the years for the National Park Service.
