There is only one Road to Avonlea soundtrack that you can buy. Right now, the sixth season comes with a soundtrack that has music by John Welsman. According to Sullivan Entertainment, this soundtrack will never be able to be purchased. It's just an agreement between them and John Welsman as a special for the devoted fans.

The soundtrack has fourty-one tracks and the running time is fifty-four minutes and twenty seconds.

The disc has a maroon ring a few centimeters in. In the center it says "Sullivan Entertainment's Road to Avonlea", which is also maroon.

Review

This soundtrack only has music written by Don Gillis, thus the music from the earlier seasons is not on the soundtrack. It does not have Gus's theme. I enjoy listening to this soundtrack. My brother thinks that the soundtrack gets redundant, but I disagree. I don't think that that many tracks are very similar. To learn which episodes are composed by whom click here. An odd thing about the tracks, is that they are very oddly named. Most of the titles aren't played when the title suggests. You can purchase this soundtrack at Sullivan Boutique, Amazon.com, and eBay.com.

John Welsman's Soundtrack

This sound track has eleven tracks and the running time is one hour and thirteen minutes long.

The cd has the picture of the front cover on it and some of the writing on the front cover is on the cd.

My Information and Review

The possibilities of this soundtrack ever being released are very slim. This will only ever be available as an "goody". Right now, if you order season six from Sullivan Boutique you will receive the soundtrack (and a few other extras such as six pictures of the cast). I highly recommend getting this cd. The sound quality is excellent. The tracks are very well named, and I do not think that I need to explain them. My favorite tracks are probably Gus Pike (seven; has tons of variations of his theme), Captain Crane (eight), and She's Like the Swallow (nine). She's Like the Swallow sends chills on my back. Cherie Camp does an excellent job singing the song. All of the tracks are very good and enjoyable to listen too.
