| I was born in Royal Oak, Michigan and went to Michigan State University. In 1983 I earned a bachelors of science degree in Physical Education with a minor in dance. I went back to Michigan State and received my teaching certificate in Elementary Education in 1987. I moved to Mahomet in 1988 and I taught in the Champaign school district from 1988 to 1993. In 1994 I started teaching in Mahomet at Sangamon Elementary. I received my Masters degree in August of 2002 from the University of Illinois. I am married and my husband works at the University of Illinois. We have a daughter named Erin. She is going to Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. I also have a step son named Tom that lives in Dallas,Texas. My step son is married and has a daughter named Dascha. I have a dog named Quaes (long a) and a cat named Frisky. |

| I enjoy walking my dog with my husband. I like to work with computers. I love going to the Caribbean and snorkeling. I like to sit around and read a good book. |
