![]()
Future Worth: Future value of regular savings of a fixed amount at certain percentage rate for a period of time in years is calculated. In the table below an example is given for growth of 1000 saving every year at 10 percent for 5 years. The annuity payment is at the end of the year.
| Capital | Interest Rate % | Year | Annuity | Interest Earned | Total At Year End |
| 0 | 10 | 1st | 1000 | 0 | 1000 + 0 = 1000 |
| 1000 | 10 | 2nd | 1000 | 1000 x 10 x 1 / 100 = 100 | 1000+1000 + 100 = 2100 |
| 2100 | 10 | 3rd | 1000 | 2100 x 10 x 1 / 100 = 210 | 1000+2100 + 210 = 3310 |
| 3310 | 10 | 4th | 1000 | 3310 x 10 x 1 / 100 = 331 | 1000+3310 + 331 = 4641 |
| 4641 | 10 | 5th | 1000 | 4641 x 10 x 1 / 100 = 464.1 | 1000+4641 + 464.1 = 6105.1 |
