he map displays well sites from which a lithological log is available. Lithology is not always defined as detailed as a hydrogeologist would want. Yet, the major "formations" from a water yield point of view, such as alluvium (clay, silt, sand, and gravel - in all combinations) and limestone, are well defined.

here are about 270 well sites with known lithology. Most of wells are deeper than 150 feet. There are also many dug wells, normally less than 80 feet deep.
