here are 509 points out of which 32 are springs, 12 are soil sampling sites, and 465 are wells. Most of wells are drilled within the Clarendon Plain. The Plain is made of alluvial materials at the top with limestone at the bottom. Wells are used for agriculture (irrigated sugar cane fields), domestic (village water supply) and industrial purposes (bauxite processing plants).
