Conduct multi-disciplinary research related to the environment with an emphasis on the use of "Peaceful Applications of the Atom" and certain non-nuclear techniques. Collaborate with local and international institutions to help provide solutions to developmental problems including poverty alleviation using Science and Technology. Contribute to the growth and retention of a cadre of excellent scientists and technologists.
