CLUB NOTICES
THE COURSE HAS NOW CHANGED.  SEE NOTICEBOARDS AND 
SCORECARDS FOR DETAILS
A BALL MAY NOW BE PLAYED AS IT LIES INSIDE A WATER HAZARD IN ACCORDANCE WITH RULE 26 AND 13-4 OF THE RULES OF GOLF.  MAIN POINTS ARE THAT THE CLUB CANNOT BE GROUNDED PRIOR TO PLAYING THE SHOT AND THE PLAYER IS NOT ALLOWED TO TOUCH OR MOVE ANY LOOSE IMPEDIMENT LYING IN OR TOUCHING THE HAZARD.  NO MATS PERMITTED AT ALL.
A WATER HAZARD HAS BEEN INTRODUCED TO THE REAR OF THE 9TH/18TH BROWN, DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE HIGH EARTH
MOUNDS.  A DROP ZONE NOW EXISTS TO THE RIGHT OF THE BROWN UNDER PENALY OF ONE STROKE.  A MAT MAY BE USED IN THE DROP ZONE WITHOUT PENALTY
The main competition day will now be on Thursdays.  Non BAE members who can not play on Thursdays may play their games on Fridays.
The Committee
Handicaps must be recorded on the score Card before being submittted to the Committee.  If no handicap is recorded the player will be disqualified

Rules of Golf 6-2b
On completion of the round the player must ensure the marker and himself have signed the score card prior to submission to the committee.  If a signature has been omitted the player will be disqualified.
