| 1. OUT OF BOUNDS (RULE 27-1) a. All fenced boundaries of the course are out of bounds. b. The 9th Fairway is out of bounds from the 8th Tee, Fairway, Rough and Water . |

| 2. IMMOVABLE OBJECTS (RULE 24-2) a. Barbed wire inside the perimeter fence. b.Tee boxes, sun shelters, benches, flag stick holders, signs, ropes, poles, broom holders and the club house, spare hole covers on the brown. Relief can also be taken from off the brown if the spare hole cover is on the line of the intended shot. |

| 3. MOVEABLE OBJECTS (RULE 24-1) a. Rollers. b. Blue, white, red yellow and fiarway marker stakes. c. a broom may be removed from it's holder if it interferes with line of sight. |

| 4. GROUND UNDER REPAIR (RULE 25-1) a. All areas as defined. b. Any man made pile of sand. c Any pile of rubbish or dead branches. d. Any area rendered unplayable by animals. |

| 5. LOOSE IMPEDIMENTS (RULE 23-1) a. Any twigs, stones, animal droppigs and small branches. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||
| 6. RELIEF IN WATER/STORM DAMAGE a. On the fairways there will be relief from water/storm damage. b. There will be NO relief from water/storm damage in the rough. |

| 7. BALL ON THE FAIRWAY a. Ball on the fairway should be played using a mat directly under where the ball came to rest. b. If the ball is on the fairway and the player's stance or a fairway mound impedes area of intended swing, then relief may be taken if the ball is on the fairway, relief may be taken from any small bushes that impede either the ball or the player's swing.here will be NO relief from water/storm damage in the rough. |

| 8. BALL ON MOUNDS AROUND BROWNS a. Relief may be taken if a player's ball comes to rest on a downward slope of a mound around a brown. b. The relief will be taken the same side of the slope that the ball has come to rest and no nearer the hole. |

| 9. MATS a. Mats must be of either astro-turf, carpet or matting with a minimum area of 36 square inches. b. A player's ball must be placed on the mat at least one ball width away from any edge of the mat. c. Mats that have bare or thin areas within them shall no longer be permitted in competition |

| 10. BROWNS a. The PUTTING SURFACE must not be altered by the player, his partner or his caddie in such a way so as to influence the putt to the player's advantage. (Only loose stones, loose earth, animal damage or footprints may be removed from the player's line of putt and only by picking them up or brushing them aside with his hand, a soft brush or a club) b. Brushing should be carried out lightly, in one direction from the position of the ball towards the hole. c. Brushing is only permitted when playing off the brown where animal damage has occurred to the surface of the brown. d. After putting out, brush the brown before you depart in order to help following players. |

| 11. BALL IN THE ROUGH - OPTIONS TO BE TAKEN a. Ball in the rough and played as it lies without the use of the mat - NO PENALTY. b. Ball in the rough and played using the mat directly under where the ball came to rest - ONE PENALTY STROKE c. Ball in the rough and deemed unplaybale. Under Unplayable Rule, ONE PENALTY STROKE for moving the ball. No further penalty if mat NOT used. d. Ball in the rough and deemed unplayable. Under Unplayable Rule, ONE PENALTY STROKE for moving ball and a further PENALTY STROKE if the mat is then used. NB Under Ball Unplayable Rule (Rule 28), if after the ball is moved it is now on the fairway, the mat can be used without further penalty. e. Only LOOSE stones are allowed to be moved to enable the ball to be played. Embedded stones must not be dug out. |

| Note 1. A ball lying in a water hazard will be played in accordance with Rule 26 and 23-4, ie, grounding of the club or clearance of loose impedimens is not permitted from within the hazard. Use of mat is not permitted from within a water hazard under any circumstances. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| Note 2. If you have any doubt on any rule whilst playing, then you should play two balls, one with relief and one without, for that particular hole. Keep a record of your score for both balls and at the end of the game approach the Committee for a decision. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
