Premise One - Beyond Hardware
Premise 1 >> Academic Achievement

Computers increase academic achievement.  Is it a truism, untested assumption, or myth?

In my opinion, computers can enhance academic achievement.   However, I don't think that it should be the only means of instruction, but should be used as an aid to teaching by the teacher.  I think that this type of instruction should be indivdualized according to the needs of each student.  This alone brings forth the a problem.  This type of instruction would be very time consuming.  Not to mention the number of teachers that would be needed to accomplish it.  I do believe that all students deserve this one-on-one time with the teacher.
