Now,the Iraq war is finished.Finally the U.S won the war. CNN and other massmedias are talking about Iraq:After Saddam. Then, we should think about one thing. Was it a war for justice as the U.S said?
I don't think so.The U.S said that "Coalition of the wilings" should attack Iraq because 1)Iraq is a dangerous country that has biochemical weapons and 2)Saddam Hussein, the president of Iraq, is a dictator.Both of these reasons are all false. First, there is no clear evidence showing Iraq's possessed biochemical weapons, even until now, that the war is finished. And even if Iraq has such weapons, it can not be a valid reason,either. Not only Iraq, but also the U.S has many dangerous weapons.Nobody thinks that Iraq can attack U.S because U.S has so many weapons. U.S also says that we can attack Iraq because the weapons of the U.S are used for world peace, but weapons of Iraq are used for terror. It is an insolenceof U.S. How can all things that U.S does be justified only because U.S does this? Another specious reason to attack Iraq that U.S says is to get rid of dictator Hussein. But even though an autocracy is not desirable, it is own government type of one country. U.S doesn't have right to interfere in another country's politics.
Now, we can know that there is no fair reason to attack Iraq. The war only resulted in bad precedents. First, many soldiers and civils died. Life of person is the most important thing. Because of any reason, to kill people can't be justified. And much money that must be used for humanbeing's welfare is wasted. There are so many people who can't eat enough in the world. The war also destroyed one of the most important artifacts, the Babylonian artifacts.The U.S can't be a civilized country.
We know that we must not repeat such a war. Then, what can we do? First, we should tell our opinion against the war. An individuals'power is so weak, so we should get together. And we should realize these points: 1)war can not be concluded as a valid way to bring world peace, and 2)only a commitment toward each other is the way to guarantee world peace.Of course, to stop the war is very difficult. But we have to do it for our decendants. I wish real world peace come soon.
