  Crimes of Passion     3-2004

I loved his eyes that pierced my soul,
Deep blue seas told me don't let go.
A sexy smile took my breath away,
Shining like diamonds many a day.
Times got tough, he put up a shell,
I'm sure it was a personal hell.
Too much college, too much work.
I thought he was just being a jerk.
Tears fell hard from his soulful eyes,
As he turned to me and said good bye.
He held me close and shook with grief.
My heart was stolen by a handsome thief.
Guilt clouds my mind, could I have done more.
Marriage isn't forever, just forklore.
                    Memory   3-2004

Thoughts of him cloud her mind,
Once a beautiful love died with time.
A sweet smieeling rose thriving in the sun,
Dark as night died when night comes.
She makes a wish on one bright star,
Seeing things simply the way they are.

    Heaven

Will you still see me from up in the clouds?
Will you still hold me tight when night is a shroud?
Can you help all the fathers to find their sons,
Can you all this, from up in heaven?
Say hello to my best friend who died at sixteen.
And hello to my brother, his young soul still clean.
Reach down to hold me, ever so close.
Please give me loving kiss, from there in heaven.
