Light
The night has a thousand eyes, the day but one. Yet the light of the bright world dies with the dying sun. The mind has a thousand eyes, the heart but one. Yet the light of the whole world dies when love is done. |

Change of Heart
I used to wait for your change of heart, But no longer do today. The other used to believe It would soon come one day The day of waiting came to an end, When we met again. When who I thought was you, my friend, Turned out to be a stranger instead. |

Starstruck
I sit alone in my room, glaring out the window The night surrounds me with its velvet shroud I think of you once more and a smile lights my eyes In my mind I can see your face, hear your laughter And then you are gone. How many times must I replay this scene inside my head For me to understand who you are and why you haunt my vision I know not what your name is or where you come from Only that when I'm alone and look in the star-sudden Heavens you are there. |
