The Guardian is consistently awarded a Golden Eagle Award for overall excellence, the highest recognition given to student journalism by the Northern Illinois Scholastic Press Association (NISPA). I served as a staff writer, news editor, and editor-in-chief of The Guardian from 2002-2004.
The Echo (Taylor University)
The Echo garnered first place and second place awards from the Indiana Collegiate Press Association�s (ICPA) 2006 contest. I served as editor-in-chief of The Echo during the �05-�06 school year.
