~~TWINS~~
So many good things
comes in pairs,
Like ears and socks and panda bears
But the best of all are sets of twins,
with extra laughter and double grins.
There's so much fun having two
with twice as many points of view.
So much alike, forever linked,
and yet they're also quite distinct.
They share a birthday and a name,
But moods and tempers aren't the same.
Although at times they might dispute
their loyalty is absolute.
From days of youth till life is done,
it's one for both and both for one.
Were all quite unique, novel and precise ,
but "special" folks
God made twice
~~"Double Blessed"~~
Dear God,
My eyes have never seen a sight so exciting, so divine.
I'm blessed not once but twice, It seems no
wealth can be compared to mine.
I have double work, double cries,
double pairs of adoring eyes.
I have double diapers to wash, double chores to do
but also double mouths that kiss and coo.
I have double feedings, must plan a double meal,
but also double pairs of tiny hands to feel.
I have double trouble, as I have said before , but
something this wonderful is worth working double for.
So, God in conclusion, I must confess
I feel very honored with my special guests.
The twins you have sent let me know that you think I'm
someone doubly special too.
I Thank You , I Thank You!
Signed,
Double Blessed Mother of Twins
~~To love your child~~
Mothers, touch your children,
Fathers, hug them tight,
Let them know you love them
morning, noon, and night.
Put your arms around them,
hold them near to you,
Feel the beating of their hearts,
the life that you made new.
Roll around the floor with them,
tease and laugh and play,
Listen to what they'll tell you,
they have so much to say.
Take time to get to know them,
see the colors in their eyes,
Appreciate that person
that deep inside them lies.
Let them run their fingers through your hair
and down your face,
Fill their hearts with words of praise,
make home their favorite place.
Cuddle with them on the couch
and watch a TV. show,
Sing with them or share a book
and help their world to grow.
Take a walk into the park,
hold each other's hand,
Smell the flowers, feed the ducks,
build castles in the sand.
Mothers, touch your children,
Fathers, hug them tight,
Show them what a gift they are,
to love them feels so right.

TWINS
There's two to wash, there's two to dry,
There's two who argue, there's two who cry.
One's in the mud, having a ball;
The other holds a crayon, another marks a wall.
Some days seem endless; my patience grows thin.
Why was I chosen to be a mother of twins?
The answer comes clear at the end of the day,
As I tuck them in bed and to myself I say:
There's two to kiss, there's two to hug,
And best of all - there's two to love.
Four
Tiny Hands
Twenty
fingers and twenty toes
Two pair of eyes and a set of cute little noses
Two hearts beating in unison
form this double bouquet of mother's roses.
Two
hungry babies
Two piercing screams
Two perfect little answers
To all of our dreams.
Double
the bottles
Double the toys
Double the diapers
And double the joys.
Four
little legs to follow along
Four little feet to fill Daddy's shoes
Four little hands to hold in our own
Four little eyes to watch our every move.
Two
little people to nurture and grow
Two little minds with their own will.
Two heads locked in love and battle
our very own little Jack and Jill.
A set
of worried parents
try to fulfill the every demand
Of two little souls
and four tiny hands.
