What servant of God was the most proficient
law breaker of all
time? It was Moses --
he broke all ten at one time (read Ezek.
32:19).
Guess what? God gave him another chance.
Do you
doubt that He will do the same for you?
I'd like to substitute several words from
the first part of the first
two verses of the little book of Jude:
I am writing
to all of you who are called
to live in the love of God the Father
and the care
of Jesus Christ. May you receive more and more
of God's mercy, peace, and love."
I'd be hard put to find a nicer wish for
you today. Some of you
woke up this morning wondering,
"will it ever get any better?"
You face things that you wish would just go away
or you are
facing something that is an unknown,
and you are dreading it.
My prayer for you
in all you may be facing is that "you may
receive
more and more of God's mercy,
peace, and love" to help
you deal with it.
I know it's hard to see the love in the face
of God whom you
can't see or reach out to grab His hand
that you can't feel, but all
through Scripture
God has promised to be faithful to those who
love Him.
You do love Him, don't you?
Then, trust Him to
help you deal with your need today.
