� NEVER HIDE THE TEARS �

Deep inside our tender hearts,
There is a valve that flows;
That has to be released sometimes,
Or a coldness runs and shows.

If a heart has closed that valve,
And shuts their feelings out;
Then it will someday break and die,
Not knowing what love's about.

A heart without that tender love,
That's needed in everyone;
Can tend to fuse and close right up,
And never feel where love's begun.

Shutting feelings up inside,
Is like a tiger caged;
With very little space to move,
The hearted becomes enraged.

And if a person thinks it's tough,
To never ever cry;
Then look at our sweet Jesus,
Not long before his time to die.

For it is very plain and clear,
That even men should cry;
For when he thought of Lazerus,
The tears came with a sigh.

For holding feelings deep within,
Are what makes men's hearts cold;
And causes many endless nights,
Of fears that are untold.

A man who shows emotions,
Just makes a closer dad;
Cause every child needs feelings,
Whether tears are good or bad.

Trying to be tough,
Has neither rhyme or reason;
For tears are good for the soul,
And they have their time and season.

Yes, a man should be more strong,
And show his strength without;
But showing some emotion,
Is what love is all about.

For holding tears within,
Will only fill one's heart;
With things that really cloud the mind,
Then a coldness has it's start.

They may not even see it,
But a heart that's shut and sealed;
Is cold and won't know feelings,
And what ones they have are killed.

A person may not have a chance,
If love has passed them by;
And then those feelings will explode,
And the mind will start to cry.

For a lock without a key,
Can never be open;
Unless it's torn or busted,
And then the heart is broken.
