Who Is Kimberly Manchester?
Kimberly Manchester is a Communications and Marketing Professional from Cranston, RI.  Born and raised in New England, and well-traveled across the East Coast, Ms. Manchester developed a love of Communications at the tender age of six, when she first heard her voice on the radio, requesting that a KISS song be played just for her.  The following Christmas, after receiving a tape recorder and a package of blank cassettes as a gift from her aunt and uncle, Kimberly set her creative mind to work producing fictional commercial sponsors for pretend radio shows, such as "Mr. Bippi's Classroom" and "The House Show" -  all ad libbed and recorded by herself and her friends.  From there, Kimberly's love for the field only grew.

Upon entering Junior High School, Kimberly had the unique opportunity for the independant study of video production.  Working through a government-sponsored program called YouthVision, with mentor Mark Cavanaugh out of the Rhode Island studios of Cox Cable, Kimberly and her fellow students were taught the ins-and-outs of video communications - from the technical jobs of sound and lighting, to the managerial tasks of directing and editing.  Side lessons learned were teamwork, compromise, and the fortitude to stand up for one's ideas in the face of adversity; as well as time-management, attention to detail, and how to successfully achieve the two at once.

Kimberly continued to work with YouthVision straight through High School, garnering a small scholarship for further study on the collegiate level.  Having discovered a love of Advertising through vocational courses offered at her High School, she decided to attend Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT to pursue a degree in Media Studies, with the plan of working behind the camera upon graduation.  Alas, the dreams of a young mind often morph into different aspirations in the face of reality.  Finding the program to be somewhat limited in scope, Kimberly transferred home to Rhode Island College after one year of study at Sacred Heart.  Although it was a difficult decision, as it meant leaving behind friends, sorority sisters, and a short ferry-ride to New York City, the ever adaptable Kimberly settled into her new surroundings quite nicely, graduating from RIC with a BA in Communications and Women's Studies - and a better understanding of her career goals.  For Kimberly, it is not the medium that matters most, but the ability to utilize her creative mind to reach practical and profitable solutions.

Starting her career as an Office Assistant with WPXQ-TV69, the local affiliate of PAX-TV, Kimberly has worked her way up the career ladder from the bottom rung to the top, settling comfortably into the field of Marketing and Corporate Communications.  Says Kimberly, "I can honestly say I am one of those people who loves what they do for a living.  I am truly blessed in that manner".
