Our Champions

Beavis

(silvered black berkshire)

X 6

Beavis was our first rat - and spoilt us rotten. Although never shown in his colour or marking class, Beavis was shown in the Pet Class - judged purely on temperament - and was awarded with six 1sts, a 2nd, and two 3rds - a fitting tribute to a beautiful soul

Nicodemus

(Champagne self)

2 X

A double Grand Champion at Aus RFS Shows, Nici has lovely type, colour and temperament. As a consistent winner of the Champagne Self Class, Nici has now retired from showing due to age

Mischief Makers Ambrosia

(cinnamon self)

2 X

Rosie is a Dble Grand Champion and Champion, as well as being awarded a number of placings in the Cinnamon Self Class, at Aus RFS Shows. She exhibits the lovely ticking so desired in the cinnamon colour.

Declan

(mink bareback)

2 X

Declan, whilst coming to us as a rescue, has excelled on the show bench, and is undefeated in his Bareback Marking Class to date. He has also managed to secure two Reserve Champion awards - amazing for one so young, we expect big things from him

Havcum Moon Shadow

(silvered black self)

2 X

Shadow is a wonderful example of a silvered black - he exhibits a lovely even silver ticking throughout his coat, and for this reason has won the Silvered Black class on a number of occassions, as well as two Reserve Champion awards

Royaloaks Cry Me A River

(mink berkshire)

River is consistently placed in the highly contested Berkshire Class, winning on more than one occassion, then going on to win Best Marked rat and Champion Rat.

Royaloaks Ptolemy

(mink berkshire)

Tolly contests the Berkshire Class along side his Aunty River, also taking his turn on the Winners' Podium on occassion, then progressing to win the Reserve Champion award

Inuit

(champagne self)

"Ini", as she is affectionately known, came to us after her mum, Sarah, had to rehome her babies due to problems. Although to old to breed, I did enter Ini in one show, at which she swept the floor, taking Best Self Rat and Grand Champion! Ini retired from showing after this so she could lay back and enjoy life

Havcum Jasper

(silverfawn self)

Although some of those animals entered in the Pet Rat Class may not look as good as some other rats, it is still an important class, as its' winners are judged on their temperament - just as important as looks, which is why I have mentioned Jasper here - winner of a Best Pet Rat class

Royaloaks The Dragonslayer

(mink self)

Although he has never won a Champion award, Bowen deserves mention here, as he, to date, has consistently won the Best Mink Self Rat award, often beaten by Nici for the Best Self rat award.

Royaloaks My Wicked Ways

(buff self)

Flynn is now a Reserve Champion award winner, not an easy task from a numerically inferior class! He joins his brother, Tolly, as another of our show successes

Royaloaks Phoenix Rising

(silvered black self)

Phoenix competes in the hotly contested Silvered Black class, and is a consistent winner, and recently, continues on the win Best Self Rat and Reserve Champion
Royaloaks Orlando

(champagne self)

Orlando is usually either on his own, or in a Class of 2 or 3 when competing for Best Champagne, so it was nice to know that he is capable of going further, on this day winning Best Self Rat and Reserve Champion as well
Royaloaks Memphis Belle

(dove berkshire)

Georgia has done exceedingly well to date - her first show saw her win a hotly contested Kitten Class, then the month later, she claimed Best Berkshire Rat, Best Marked Rat and Grand Champion at the tender age of 10 1/2 weeks!
