At last I should get the chance to go to a "real" amusment park. Everybody that have been to the "amusment" parks in Scandinavia and
one of the big ones here in the US will understand what I mean.
The particular we were going to are the one and only here in New England. You can find more information here.

We chose one of the first really beautiful days this summer to go. Bad choice, I will return to that.
The people on the tour was Dan and Nancy (people I climb with), Simo and Tracy (Simo is my collegue) and Sita (?) and Tom (?)  (Sita is Simo's sister).

From left: Tom, Sita, Dan, Nancy, Simo and Tracey What an angel! Some more "angel shots".
So off we go to the carrousels. This one looked very cool, but turned out to be a torture device. The thing that comes down over to keep you in place was way to tight so you were litteraly beeing squeezed. And when it finally started it just went round and round. Sickening. Here you can see the line for the main attraction of the amusment park; "The Ride of Steel. Line would be the word of the day. Saturday is the most populaer day to go. We came at around 12 pm and left at 10:30. We still just managed 4-5 rides!. We did spend some time at the Waterpark, but still.
Despite the waiting the "Ride of Steel" was very coool!. You can find the spec about it here.
After alot of waiting and some thrills, we figured that we should cool of in the Waterpark.
Here there hopefully were less lines.
Not! While we are waiting ...
We had to do some more thrills. This one was very cool. Basically shooting us straight up. I looks like the photographer also got a bit carried away. :)
Beer is also an ingredients when you want be amused. You can have a romantic time at an amusement park, but you have to loose the photographer I think...
A tired but happy group, ready to go home.

Lessons learned:
1. Get there early
2. Expect line
3. Don't go on a Saturday
4. Bring swimwear if you are going to the Waterpark
5. Life is a thrill, but sometimes it is good to be thrilled.
