The first week |

I arrived late Tuesday (25 January 2000) just when a snowstorm had hit USA. The first thing I heard when I arrived was that all outgoing flights was cancelled. The next days I learned that most of the flights on the East Coast was put to a hold. Perhaps Gardemoen is not that bad after all. |

The apartment turned out to be very nice. My bedroom was a bit smaller than I had expected, but the living room was bigger. So I guess it evened up after all. The location is just fabulous. I am 5-10 min walk to the Central Sq. and Harvard Sq.. The "T" (what they call the subway here) is located on Central Sq. It takes me about 10 minutes to the centrum. |

I have been walking alot around Cambridge which is the name of the city I live in (it belongs to Boston Greater). The temperature has been around -7 - 0 C, but with the wind it has been freezing at times. It is a very pretty city with a lot of old buildings of good standard. |

I have done a lot of different stuff. Right now I just list them, but I might revisit them later: - Getting a social security number - Trying to get a drivers licence - Getting a bank account - MIT party - Salsa dancing - Driving here in Boston - Looking for a car (changed from Ford Mustang to a Jeep Grand Cherokee and finally to a Accura Integra, I think....) - Looking for a bed - Visiting "Cheers" - Super Bowl "get to gether"
