RiVaN: Here's an easy one: a/s/l plz ?
Stinger: Hehehe 17 years and 9 months/male/SOTRA,Bergen,Norway,Europe und zu weiter

RiVaN: How did you start playing starcraft?
Stinger: Well...it started during the summer of 98 just before I was going to play a football cup in sweden.Me and a friend(Sindre) and his cousin(GEIR haha) was sitting on a mini LAN at his place.I�d only played CM2 and little Red Alert single player.So while they were playing SC I just sat in the couch reading BOING magazines.But finnaly I found out I should try this shit and in the start it went really slow.After I�d played through single player and beaten some comps,we started playing against each other and we formed a little clan called B.O.B(brotherhood of blood) consisting of RL friends. We were 5 people in the clan and none of us had b.net so we kinda sucked ;).Then we got tired of playing each other so we decided we should visit the city and see if there was any netcaf�s we could challenge people.First we hung out on G.net and got our asses whopped by a dude called Rolf(hehehe),and later we went to visit the aBs headquarter Netropolis.Here we found players with way more skills than us, and often we just stood there and watched Sven and Steve kicking on b.net.I learned alot from just seeing them play and finally I got to try b.net one night we was there.My first nick was bobberolf2(the nick comes from me being called rolf by my cuz I pumped alot of units and didnt care to micro at all when i was playing like Rolf did and I was in the B.O.B clan so mixing them together it became bobberolf. Why I got the number 2 I don�t remember but i think it was because Geir called himself bobberolf1.So in february 99 i finally got b.net and got heavy addicted and have played alot since that.

RiVaN: What clans have you been in and your thoughts on them?
Stinger: Hmm....first clan was of cource B.O.B and then I joined some small clans KB and ATB playing like..5 games on the nicks.Then i met Daggy on B.net which I later met RL and we got good friends and formed a clan with Musling,[B.O.B]Punisher(GEIR) and [B.O.B]Killer(Sindre).We called ourselves fbA (Fallen Battle Angels) and owned SC NOR-1(aBs had started playing BW in March so we took control over SC =))I also got invited to the aBs gathering at that time where I met the rest of the abs dudes and found out they were cool =).Then I met RiVaN and SkeRu who are some of the funniest and nicest persons i know.When we�d played alot with each other on Netropolis on another aBs gathering in september and they asked me if I wanted to join their clan .[kY]. ,which I did even though I felt kinda bad leaving fbA just like that.I felt maybe that .[kY]. is the only clan who could challenge aBs when it came to 1on1 games. Anyways I started to play more and more BW but,only after two weeks in .[kY]., RiVaN and SkeRu left for aBs.With only one active member(Red�) exept me I quit the clan two weeks later.Then I joined aBs in November and this is the best and coolest clan I�ve been in so far.The skill level is huge and the aBs gatherings has been a cool tradition which we haven�t been holding now since march 00.

RiVaN: How did you join aBs?
Stinger: First they asked me if i wanted to join in the easter/summer after a cool game on Hunters vs Sven(pvz I had the upper hand in the start but i forgot to expand :D so he owned me) but I turned it down cuz I felt I wasn�t good enough and i rarely played BW concentrating on SC instead.But after RiVaN and SkeRu wanted me to join I asked Sven and Steve if it was okay and they approved saying that with Voodoo and Slayer more than half of aBs clan wanted me in.
RiVaN: Whats your favorite race?
Stinger: Hmm...I random all the time but I think Zerg is the best race on LT and I like them best.

RiVaN: Favorite matchup?
Stinger: Well...I like Zerg v Toss =) as many others but i also like Terran v Zerg.I feel Terran vs Zerg is the most balanced matchup.

RiVaN: Favorite map?
Stinger: Hehe I�m a onemapwonder so I�ll say LT but I think Hunters and Ashrigo is cool as well.

RiVaN: Worst map?
Stinger:I hate Dire ;(

RiVaN: Favorite player?
Stinger: Hmm...Sven has always impressed me and been my favorite player cuz he has an amazing micro...I haven�t seen too much of Maynards micro but I think Sven is at that level or even higher.

RiVaN: Favorite opponent?
Stinger: That�s you baby =)Those games we played at John�s house were really good games and I learned alot. I also learned alot from a norwegian dude called Realizer (editorial note: Realizer is an eks aBs member)

RiVaN: Worst opponent?
Stinger: Hehe....well I think i have to say Butcher[TFB] cuz I seem to lose very often vs him.He owns me on the weirdest things like M&M drop in TvT and 2hatch Muta rush vs my Toss so..I think I�ll say him.

RiVaN: Most overated player?
Stinger: I don�t come in mind of a particular player but I think that it�s most of the US players who claim they are the best and then they get owned by Koreans and Europeans.

RiVaN: Most underated player?
Stinger: Hmm...I was going to say swedish players )Si(SaFT or 006Trevelyan here but they�ve won many tourneys now (SaFT recently won a big tourney in Denmark ( vs Slayer in the final) and Trev wins almost all tourneys held on [SIN] and are kinda famous so I�ll say most of the aBs players are underrated even just a small number of us play active.

RiVaN: Are you playing any other games at the moment?
Stinger: Nope...I�ve played through Diablo2 on single player and I play The CM3 games from time to time but it�s only been SC/BW the last 2 years.

RiVaN: How can you explain your development as a brood war player , and what is your advice to loosers like cke-R@x(editorial note: R@x is maybe the most hated player in starcraft nor-1) wanting to be as good as you?
Stinger: Heh well..the only advice i have is to practice much and learn new strats. Another thing is to not give up if you are losing to a newbie some times, cuz that happends. Gifted players like Slayer who has an amazing fast mousespeed and Svens micro is things that is not possible to learn. But having good timing is very important and is fully possible to learn. Like knowing when the opponent has lurks if he goes that and knowing when your opponent has reaverdrop and shit.
