I blew it! Now look what happened he?s out on a date with, that alien down on that planet!* She began to pace, ?Computer coffee black!? Suddenly a cup of coffee appeared and she took a sip, when the door to her ready room buzzed. ?Come in.? the door swished open and the tall handsome man whom she loved so deeply walked through the doors. ?Hello Captain, just bringing you the personnel reports. I?m going back down to the surface now just forgot to give these to you so I came back. Have a good evening Captain.? ?Thank you Chakotay, appreciate it. Have a nice time.? and with that he left the room. *He called me Captain she thought, he hasn?t called me that in such a long time, he always calls me Kathryn, oh Chakotay I love you! Now if I could only tell you this!* She started working on the personnel reports to try and put her mind off Chakotay on the planet with that...woman...but she couldn?t concentrate, she kept thinking about what they were doing and upset herself even more because it wasn?t her with him in his big, strong, secure arms, and that infuriated her. Most of her crew were down on the surface anyway enjoying a much needed shore leave, she too could use some shore leave herself, but couldn?t bring herself to beam down to the planet, suddenly the doctor appeared in her room. ?Doctor what are you doing here?? ?I?m here to make sure you get R and R down on the planet. You?ve been working too hard Captain, you told your crew to take a break, now I?m telling you to take one.? The Captain started to raise her hand to object when the Doctor interrupted, ?Doctor?s orders Captain, you are going to go and relax on the surface now go change and go down there!? ?Fine Doctor, I?m going.? and she walked out of the room. When Janeway beamed down to the surface of the planet she saw her crew enjoying themselves and having a good time, which was good because the past few weeks had been particularly stressful with Capt. Ransom?s plan stopped, Paris? run in with the ship that took over his mind, and recently their contact with Starfleet. Even Seven was enjoying herself which was good to see, B?ilanna and Tom were taking a nice romantic stroll along the coast, Neelix and Naomi were taking a swim...and suddenly her eyes caught Chakotay with Kayla, the alien he?d met on the away mission to the planet which led to the shore leave on the planet, and they were kissing! Seeing this Janeway took off running like a shot, she wanted to get as far away as possible. She finally stopped a ways down the coast and just sat and cried, no one could see her, she would never break down in front of the crew, not over something like this. Suddenly a voice startled her... ?Kathryn, what?s wrong?? Janeway raised her head to find that her one true love was standing beside her. ?Oh nothing...what are you doing here? Where?s Kayla?? ?We decided to part company, she could tell that I was preoccupied with someone else.? ?Preoccupied...with someone else? Who?? ?You of course, Kathryn I love you. You?re the only one for me.? Janeway just sat there stunned, she knew in her heart that he loved her and she loved him too but had always been afraid to tell him, afraid of what it would do to the command structure, afraid of going against everything she had been taught. *God Kathryn just tell him that you love him too...just say it already!* ?I love you too Chakotay.? ?Then why do you keep pushing me away?? she opened her mouth about to speak when he interjected, ?I know, I know, you?re the Captain. Well we?re not on the ship right now, and we?re alone...? He sat down beside her and took her in his arms, she felt so safe and secure she just wanted them to stay that way forever. He then lifted her chin up and put his lips on hers and kissed her, she thought that she would?ve tensed up but she stayed calm and enjoyed the taste of his lips and his mouth as he deepened the kiss even more. She didn?t want it to end, and then she too deepened the kiss more. She held on to him so tight that if she let go he might fade away, they sunk from their sitting position and they we?re now lying on the coast kissing deeply and neither one wanting to let go and let their lips part. Just then Chakotay started to gently caress Kathryn?s breast, it made her tingle all over, gods she wanted him so bad, she wanted him to go on so she let out a soft moan. Chakotay realizing this increased pressure on her breast causing Kathryn to moan even louder... ?Oh Chakotay I love you so much, take me now!? ?I love you too Kathryn, get ready for the ride of your life!? And the night went on... The next day they found themselves back on the ship heading home. Janeway and Chakotay both looked at each other on the bridge, both with a giant smile on their faces, their lives would never be the same again, neither of them would ever be alone again. END |
