YO! I just got back from Tidal Wave. It was awesome!!!!! It took place at the shore of Lake Erie and we had the chance to swim in the lake, which was cool. Tina and a few other members of the church entered a volleyball tournament. We lost two straight games in a row. Blaze, Annie and Anthony played in a basketball tournament and the lost in the last game,. They went on to the Losers Bracket and lost again, so they joined us in Lake Erie.
We played stick in the mud, which is like freeze tag, but in water and to get people unfrozen, you have to swim through their legs. We played and then I collected sea shells.
Later on on the drive home Blaze sat next to me and we got into an argument over how mean the other one was. He said my song is 'One Week' by the Barenaked Ladies and I said his theme song was 'Idiot Boyfriend' by Jimmy Falon. In the end Blaze and I made up and while he was in the gas station I stole the batteries out of my CD player that he was using and put them in my front and back pocket. He said he wanted to listen to my burned CD and reached into my front pocket and grabbed the one battery. I still had one battery.
I asked him why I should give it to him. He said 'because you want to.' I told him 'no...' then Tina told him to say 'because i like you and you're my girlfriend.' I put the battery back in the CD player and Blaze was quite happy.
A few seconds later Blaze leaned over to me and said 'Wanna know the real reason why you should have given me the batteries?' I said, 'yes' he turned to me and whispered, 'Because I love you.' I was soooooooooo happy! I then asked 'really?' and he said 'yeah...' I should have told him that I love him too, but I couldn't, because he started listening to my CD player again. But I do love him. I think the fact that I love him is very obvious.
The rest of the night he fell 'asleep' in my lap. I stroked his hair. It is really soft! I mean really soft! Ahh!! Sam, I am in sheer bliss!
