Mistake? We met the other night And as we talked I fell in love. Things seemed to take their own course And before long, I was beyond saving. Overtaked by your charm I could hardly understand what was happening. Yet I could feel the attraction We both shared that night. Now I lie here, thinking of you Wondering if you're thinking of me too YOu're different than the others I've never met anyone like you If this is a dream I never want to awaken Yet I need to know how you feel. You don't have to tell me But it would do me good to know. Do I really have a chance? Or was I led by false intentions? All I'm asking is for you to let me know. So I can be sure, I'm not making a mistake.

Gone As he spke I sat in silence, Staring into the open sky. The world seemed to fewwze , As if the moment were to last forever. His eyes met mine, and Like the world; I froze. As his hand touched mine, A cold breeze blew over me. The stars shined, As the sun went down. And once again the world began to spin. As he turned and walked away I knew I had to speak. I opened my mouth, but no words came out. He turned and looked back AS if to seize the moment. A tear fell from his face, And her turned and walked on. All at once I began to cry; "Turn back" were the only words I could manage. As I looked up, the trail ahead was clear, Nothing in sight. He was Gone.

Then What? We know the sky is blue, We knew the earth was flat. What if waht we think we know, Isn't really that? The earth was in the center, The sun just went around it. Now the sun is in the middle, Where astrologers found it. I guess the world is changing, In good ways and in bad. From things we thought we knew were true, To things we knew we had. So if we keep on growning, And new things are still discovered. What if we forget the things we knew, And keep them all well covered? Then the world would change, From things we thought were right. To things we knew were true, But were never really right.

Tribute to 9/11 It's been three months ago, Since our stability was rocked. We're planning for revenge, Yet we're all still sad and schocked. We're still praying for those families, Who lost their loved ones dear. To them we send our sympathies, Its been a real tough year. And those whose loved ones traveled, To plan for our attack. They went to help our country, But we just want them back. For now the wound is open, We're waiting fro the word. I can't believe this happend, It just seems so obsurd. They took away the helpless, Killed with no remorse. They took so many lives, Throughout their greedy course. Their senseless acts of anger, Caught us off the gaurd. Our lives are changed forever, The process has been hard. We've all been touched by hatred, From those who like us not. Out lives have changed forever, The day will never be forgot.

~*Untitled*~ I'm being told so many things I don't know which are true. They all say they can see your hints And that you like me too. As clear as they may think they are, These things I just can't tell I wish you would just let me know So I could see as well. They tell me you are just too shy And I shoud go to you. I told you what my feelings are What more is there to do? I've been waiting patiently For the day I'll know for sure. That day just hasn't come up yet, My feelings are still pure. You need to tell me how you feel, Do I really have a chance? So I can move on if I must, Or so my heart can dance. I know I can't just change your mind If the feelings just aren't there. So you should let me know real soon, I think its only fair.

Dream Man The Dream Man comes out at night When you are fast asleep. He brings you dreams of joy, And memories to keep. His majic dust is special, He keeps it by his heart. It's full of all his goodness, With it he'll never part. He sprinkles it on children, As they lay asleep in their beds. It has a special dream, Which goes inside their heads. So dream sweet dreams of candy, Of things that make you smile. For soon they will be gone, They only last a while.

There's Something Under my Bed I was lying there one dark, cold night, Then I got this sudden fright. Something was moving under my bed A monster, a goblin, or maybe something dead! I could not move a finger or toe, Why I could not move, I did not know. All I could feel was being pierced with fear, All of the sudden I could not hear. It was pitch black, so I could not see, The only thing I could see was me. All of the sudden I saw a glow, What it was I did not know. All of the sudden the glow disappeared, That gave me an instant fear. All of the sudden, I could see, It looked like a monster to me. Then he was gone and out of sight, He said something to me that night. I'll never forget just what he said, "Never, Ever look, under your bed!"
