Inuyasha Series
Inuyasha is a anime by Rumiko Takahashi. This is the famous creator who created popular comics such as Ranma 1/2, Lum, Maison Ikkoku, Rumic, and many others too. Inuyasha is set in the feudal era in Tokyo, Japan. It contains many interesting aspects including ones of love and friendship.
Inuyasha is about a hanyou or half youkai, which is a half demon, named Inuyasha and a girl named Kagome. Kagome is a high school girl from present day Japan. Kagome gets pulled down the bone eaters well by a centerpide youkai who thought that Kagome had the shikon jewel or the jewel of four souls. It is also called the Shikon no Tama which gives powers to magical beings(This Jewel had once been protected by the miko Kikyou).
Later on, the jewel was shattered into a bunch of pieces and now the pair of Inuyasha and Kagome had to find the shattered pieces of the jewel to make it whole again. Inuyasha wants the Shikon no Tama really badly because he wants to become a full youkai, but also mayble he might want it to become a human..During the journey they meet other youkai and friends like Shippou the kitsune, Sango, and a monk named Miroku.
They also meet enemies like Kikyou who sealed Inuyasha in the first episode. She is brought back to life by Urasue who was an ogress. The revived Kikyou is now full of hatred. The group also encounter Naraku who was once a human in Onigumo. He calls on other youkai to kill Inuyasha, so that he could gain the services of Kikyou. Another enemy that the group encounters quite a lot is his brother, Sesshomaru. The creators of Inuyasha have also made a movie. The poster of the movie can be viewed here.
