Joshua was very close to family. He loved any function we had. He just loved family things. So I always made sure that he would have a good time at all occasions. From Halloween to birthdays to Guy Fawkes. We had a couple of Halloween parties for him that he just loved and he loved to go trick or treating. Every Guy fawkes I gave him a party and he would let the fireworks off with his best friend and mentor Brad. I'm not sure who enjoyed it more. Then there were birthdays. Every birthday Joshua would do something special. I always did the best I could to make his day a good one. Joshua managed to travel more than I ever did. He went to Australia with his Nana and Poppa in 1997. They had a great time going to fun parks etc. He just seemed to make the most of every situation to have a good time. Maybe somewhere in his soul he knew that he only had 11 short years in which to do it all. Always so full of energy with something to say. I miss my friend.....I miss my son. |
